About Lucy O’Hagan

Lucy is a dedicated educator, forager, and guide whose work centres around rewilding, ancestral skills, and deep nature connection. They are the founder of Wild Awake, an initiative that facilitates immersive land-based experiences, reconnecting people with indigenous knowledge, ecology, and traditional crafts.

With a background in outdoor education, ethnobotany, and ancestral skills, Lucy has spent years travelling to and learning with various land based cultures and communities. Their teachings draw on a deep reverence for the land, emphasising reciprocity, belonging, and decolonisation.

Through Wild Awake, Lucy leads programs on foraging, fire-making, traditional food preservation, plant medicine, and nature-based rites of passage, inviting participants into a more reciprocal relationship with the Earth. Their work is rooted in community, activism, and a passion for reviving ancestral wisdom in a modern context.
