Women’s Work - A monthly women’s circle in Cork

  • Cork Lotus Yoga 4 Carey's Lane Cork, CO, T12 YY89 Ireland (map)

Women’s Work is a monthly gathering for women to come together, connect, and learn tools of self understanding and embodiment. Each month we will meet in Cork Lotus for an evening of inquiry and sharing on the ‘life-stuff’ which we all have in common - from our relationships to our bodies, to our finances, to our sex lives - this will be an opportunity to join with other women to share our experiences and insights, and learn from one another. The evening will be supported by guided practices from the facilitators, Síolta founder Hannah Bowler, and Cork Lotus founder Hazel O'Sullivan.

Each month you can expect :

Some gentle movement

A monthly theme or topic of focus

Guided practices for inquiry and reflection

Sharing & connection time

A restorative sound bath

Tea and Snacks :)

An opportunity to meet like-hearted women.

About Hazel

Hazel has been teaching yoga for more than 10 years in Ireland and abroad, she founded Cork Lotus in 2023. Hazel's aim as a teacher is to allow her students to deeply connect with their bodies and minds, teaching not only asana but also supporting her students to discover more about themselves in the process. Yoga has taught Hazel a lot about herself, her reactions, her unconscious thought patterns, and habitual ways of being. Through this awareness, she has learned (and is still learning) to make better choices for herself, leading to a happier and more fulfilling life.

Hazel loves teaching a combination of everything she has learned over the past 10 years. Her classes are lighthearted with a focus on embodiment, self-awareness, and breath.

About Hannah

Hannah is a holistic wellbeing practitioner who works with people one to one and in group settings, her work focuses on vulnerability and connection, and the path to inner-union so that we feel our innate sense of union with the world. Her work combines therapeutic methods, depth psychology and coaching techniques to support people to build a loving relationship with themselves and achieve the goals their hearts desire.

Hannah also works with vibrational medicine, using the powerful, grounding sound-currents of a gong, and the etherial sound of quartz crystal singing bowls, to support deep rest and relaxation.

”I have had the privilege of experiencing Hannah's work in both group and 1 on 1 settings and fully appreciate the way she can hold space, share wisdom and untangle wounds for healing in both scenarios” - Amie, London

“Hannah is a wonderful person & spaceholder, she holds a very warm, safe and non-judgemental space” - Alia, Sweden

“Working with Hannah is one of the only times I feel I can truly let go and release what needs to be released” - Sarah, London
